A Duncan Imperial No. 400 with a chevron hot-stamped on the face of one half. It sports shiny silver chromed plastic, although the aged and worn polybag obscures some of the finish. You can see the chrome by looking through the punched hole in the polybag. The material is similar to the chrome plastic used on vintage Monogram and Revell model kits from the same period. This version does not have TEN-ITE hot-stamped below the chevron. Duncan also offered it in a gold chrome version.

A similar Duncan Imperial yo-yo with chevron indicates that this example likely dates from about 1962 or 1963. However, Duncan used the same card in the version seen above as they did for the version shown here.

A beautiful, very hard to find model. It almost makes you wonder if it wasn't an award yo-yo!
