Bandai's "HyperCluster MOB-S3-HMW Meteor Bahamut - limited version" yo-yo released November 23, 2012. What made this a limited version--compared to the regular Meteor Bahamut--was the silver aluminum weight rings and translucent purple body and core. A valuable, hard to find edition. It was also sold only from authorized Bandai Hyper Yo-Yo dealers.

This yo-yo includes aluminum weight rings on the outside of each purple body halve bringing the entire yo-yo's weight to nearly 73 grams. The yo-yo uses a size A bearing. The response system uses pads instead of a starburst system. If you configure this yo-yo using the core from the HyperCluster SpeedFalcon yo-yo, you sufficiently convert it to a "bind" or unresponsive yo-yo.

The HyperCluster series took the ease of yo-yo customization to a whole new level. The back of the package shows you other configurations you could build using compatible core parts from other HyperCluster-series yo-yos.

Like all the yo-yos in this line, you could use this yo-yo to earn your Hyper Yo-Yo certification from an authorized Bandai Yo-Yo dealer.

Came with the two plastic/metal body halves, core with pads and axle, bearing system, string, user guide, customization guide, and trick guide. See "Other Views" in the SlashDragon exhibit to see examples of the three guides.

Original retail price: $40 US.
