YoYo String Lab Plutonium uses a proprietary polyester-based blend (poly/nylon)—no cotton. They do not publish exact ratios, but it’s primarily high-tenacity polyester with some nylon for bounce and whip speed. It feels soft on the hands yet delivers fast, consistent whips and lacerations. Plutonium uses a tighter twist than YoYo String Lab's Venom variety and a slightly thicker gauge for a more stable, controlled throw. The string is balanced for both competitive and casual play.
The variety seen in this exhibit is the Ann ConnollyNight Life edition. Tube came with 10 strings.
