A tin O-Boy Duncan Whistling Yo-Yo probably from the 1930s or 1940s. This model is a "junior" version meaning the diameter is smaller than other traditional yo-yos from Duncan. One thing to look for when collecting tin yo-yos is that each halve is securely attached to the axle and does not rotate.
The "whistling" portion of the yo-yo comes from two pairs of holes, opposite each other, found on one halve of the yo-yo. A rather odd configuration.
