Bandai Hyper YoYo Hard Gear hat from 1998. These hats were available in Singapore, Japan, and probably other Asian countries. A variety of "Hard Gear" pieces were marketed to go along with the Duncan, Bandai, and Yomega yo-yos that were sold. Some of these items included head and wrist sweat bands, face towels, neckerchiefs, gloves, portable drinks, t-shirts, wallets, storage cases, and so on.
The blue-stitched logo on the left side of the hat has the initials "THP" (Team High Performance). Do a search on the Web for "THP yo-yo" to learn more about this special team of professional yo-yo players and demonstrators from the 90s.
